mothers day stay and play 2024
Our children will be enjoying a stay and play session with our mummies on Friday 8th March- Babies and Tweenies and Toddlers and preschool will be enjoying a stay and play session on Monday 11th March.

For our world book day event we are going to be doing the following experience
Opening a book swop shop- we are asking for our children to bring in books they dont want anymore and swopping with their friends who may have a book we would like.
This supports our children’s development in many ways such as
-making choices
-supporting each other with sharing
-early reading
-caring for our world

Our nursery book of the month.As a setting we are promoting the love of reading through a book of the month in setting and for our parents to enjoy with their families if they want to purchase for home.
We have decided on this book as it works alongside our Mini minds scheme February month- Dreamasaurus.
At the Red House nursery we are part of the mini minds scheme which works on emotional regulation and ensuring our children are happy little humans.

to give yourselves time to get organised for world book day we will be doing the following
-creating with craft materials
-creating with hedgehogs with books
-book swop shop
-dressing up clothes or pjs
we cant wait join in the fun
Our children will be taking part in Fairy tale day on Monday 26th February.
-bring a fairy tale to the setting
-come dressed up in fairy tale experiences
-bring craft materials to nursery and create a wonderful scene with our peers.
